What is Three-Phase Power
Three-phase power, introduced and patented by Nikola Tesla, is the most common form of alternating current electric power generation, transmission, & distribution1 used in the world. Three-phase systems carry three different currents at the same frequency with a phase offset of 120°. This offset ensures that a constant power source is supplied since one of the three currents will reach peak instantaneous value at different times.
